Hidden Valley Iherdamockingbird, NA Atta, (River/Reddy boy, owned by Sandy Case, GA) On July 10th, in Perry Georgia, Atta finished up his Novice Agility (NA) agility title. He went right back the next day for his first Open Standard leg. Jumpers is being plagued by the one bar down syndrome...it's tough when you're running courses at 16 second. Congratulations Mr. Atticus Finch, on your first agility title. There will be many more in your future, but the first is always special. Nice job Sandy!
HIDDEN VALLEY'S ONYX Onyx, Happy 1st Birthday Onyx ! Meet Onyx who is co-owned by Donna & Cary Polka. A beautiful smooth coated, black & white girl, who carries red. Onyx is out of working herding trial dogs. She is a lovely addition to the Hidden Valley breeding program as well as a wonderful pet and future performance dog to Cary Polka's family. MACH ADCH Hidden Valley's Red Arrow, MXF Dart, (Bid/Reddy Boy owned by Dave Mancino, OH) A DUAL CHAMPION! Dart earned his USDAA Agility Dog Championship agility title (ADCH) on June 20th, at the Penn-Ohio Agility Club trial in Cleveland. Frosting on the cake, that weekend, was his earning his 2nd Grand Prix qualifier (with a 3rd place), so he is all qualified up (Steeplechase, Team & Grand Prix) for the USDAA Nationals in October. All this, just one week after earning his AKC MACH. Dart is also qualified for the AKC Nationals this year and he'll be there, as well. At just four years old...what a month...what a year it has been for the wonderful team of Dave and Dart. CONGRATULATIONS!!

REDDY & DIGSY'S PUPPIES HAVE ARRIVED: Reddy's puppies arrived May 28th. TEN PUPPIES! Three Girls and Seven Boys. This is a very colorful litter. The girls are 1 red/wht, 1 black/wht and 1 red merle. Hidden Valley's Some Might Say, AX OAJ OF Digsy, (Delta/Jester Boy owned by Shelly Salwei, OR) Digsy earned his Agility Excellent (AX) agility title on 5-31-10 at the Eugene Trial in OR. Hidden Valley RedRiver Sunrise, OA NAJ OF Sunny, (River/Reddy boy, owned by Art Brest, OR) On May 22nd, at the Seattle Kennel Club trial, Sunny earned his Open Agility (OA) agility title. Sunny is very powerful, very fast and quite the handful for Art to handle, but they are starting to come together nicely. What a great team they are becoming. OAJ NF PT Dyne, (Delta/River Girl, owned by Pam Sturtz, NY) Dyne is letting no grass grow under her agility feet. After earning her Novice agility titles just last month, she came right back on May 16th to earn both her Open Agility (OA) and Open Agility Jumpers (OAJ). All of her Qs were won with 1st, 2nd or 3rd place runs. Congratulations Dyne and Pam and good luck to you in Excellent!

NAJ NF PT Dyne, (Delta/River Girl, owned by Pam Sturtz, NY) Dyne earned her AKC Pre-Trial (PT) Herding title on May 9th, in New York. She also competed in an AHBA herding trial the same weekend, earning her first leg toward her JHD. I love seeing these pups out there herding. Congratulations Dyne and Pam!

Jesse, (Bid/Reddy Girl, owned by Kay Rieff, IL) On May 9th, Jesse earned his Novice Agility (NA) agility title. After earning his first leg last Fall, he came back this Spring to finish off his title with two 2nd placements. Jesse is titled in Obedience, Rally, Agility, Herding and tracking, with a TDX, showing what a versatile dog he is and great trainer Kay is to have accomplished so much is so many areas. Congratulations Jesse and Kay!
Hidden Valley Worth the Wait, NF Pacer, (Delta/Jester Boy, owned by Tanya Sigloh, OR) On May 2nd, at the Woofstock Freestyle competition, Pacer qualified four for four, earning a first and two second placements. They titled in Beginners Heel-to-Music and also Novice Freestyle. This gives the team their W-FDX/MF (Musical Freestyle Novice Title ) and their W-FD/HTM (Heel-To-Music Beginner Title). Pacer is now known as Hidden Valley Worth the Wait, NF, W-FDX/MF, W-FD/HTM. Tanya even won the "Erasmus B Dragon!" award for the "best human dancer", dancing to "Rock & Roll is Here to Stay"! Congratulations to our dynamic dancing team, Tanya & Pacer!

Hidden Valley Flying Sky High, TD Sky, (Caleb/Reddy boy, owned by Kathy Reyna, OR) On April 18th, Sky earned his Tracking Dog tracking title (TD), at the EDOC tracking test in Eugene OR. Sky just turned SEVEN MONTHS old! The Sky's the limit for Kathy and her wonderful puppy. HUGE congratulations to Kathy and Sky!
Hidden Valley Dynamic Force, NA NAJ NF HT Dyne, (Delta/River Girl, owned by Pam Sturtz, NY) Dyne earned her Novice FAST (NF) agility title on April 11th, in Maryland. After earning her NA & NAJ just last weekend, she went on to earn Open legs, with placements, this weekend. It looks like Dyne is officially launched and doing well. Congratulations Pam and Dyne!

Hidden Valley Crouching Tiger, MX AXJ XF AAD Ice, (Delta/River boy, owned by Bonnie Norris, TX) On March 7th, Ice earned his Advanced Agility Dog agility title (AAD). He finished off this title with a 1st place Adv Std run. Now it's time for Ice to go MAD! Congratulations Bonnie and Ice!

MACH Hidden Valley Brilliant Flash, CD MXF AD Flash, (Bid/Reddy Boy owned by Art Brest, Oregon) brought home three first place ribbons from the prestigious Rose City trial in Portland, OR. Two of those runs went High in Trial as well....One from Excellent Standard and the other from Excellent Jumpers. It's hard to believe that Flash is Art's first agility dog. This is simply an amazing team and so much fun to watch. Congratulations hardly seems enough, but here it is...CONGRATULATIONS Art and Flash!!
Hidden Valley Golden Chance, NA NAJ Chance, (River/Reddy Boy) owned by Dudley Meeter, GA: On January 24th Chance earned his Novice Agility (NA) agility title with a second place run. He also ran one last time in Novice Jumpers, coming in first place with an amazing 5.9 yps run. Congratulations Dudley & Chance!
Hidden Valley RedRiver Sunrise, NA NAJ OF Sunny, (River/Reddy boy, owned by Art Brest, OR) On January 10th, at the Portland Agility Club trial, Sunny earned his Open FAST (OF) agility title. He did it with 75 points and a 1st place run. Congratulations Art and your powerhouse Sunny! Besides agility, Sunny has another endeavor on the horizon...he will be bred to Bindi early this Summer. Hidden Valley Little Sure Shot MX MXJ MXF AAD HIC Annie, (Bid/Reddy Girl, owned by Bonnie Disney, IN) On January 10th, Annie earned her USDAA Advanced Agility Dog (AAD) agility title after securing that advanced Pairs leg she needed. As has been Annie's way lately, all three of her runs that day were good for 1st placements. Team Bonnie/Annie are just tearing up the agility courses in all venues. Congratulations to Bonnie and her super dog Annie.

OTCH3 Hidden Valley TNT, UDX4 Blast, (Lefty/Reina Boy, owned by Debbie Nelson, TN) Blast earned his Obedience Trial Champion 3 title (OTCH3) and his Utility Dog Excellent 4 title (UDX4). Blast's obedience career is winding down, after having earned 10 High in Trials , 8 High Combines and over 300 OTCH points. As Debbie says, "Not bad for a wild man and my best dog yet." Blast may be retiring from obedience, but not from the spotlight. He has a new career in advertising with the Tractor Supply Company. They love his intense look and always a will to do what ever it takes to get the shot. My hardiest congratulations to Debbie and Blast!
MACH Hidden Valley Brilliant Flash, CD MXF AD Flash, (Bid/Reddy Boy owned by Art Brest, Oregon) Flash added a new title to his name this past weekend at the RAT USDAA trial in WA. He completed his Agility Dog title (AD). While that was a nice accomplishment for Flash, the big news came from the DAM team "The Zesty Riverdance Flashers", made up of Teddy Tedford with River, Barb Davis with Zesty and Art with Flash. They WON the DAM Team competition! Congratulations to all three team members, and especially our boy Flash and his miraculous other half...Art!

Hidden Valley Golden Chance, NAJ Chance, (River/Reddy Boy) owned by Dudley Meeter, GA: Chance earned his Novice Agility Jumpers title (NAJ) in Pendleton, SC with a fourth place run. He also earned two Novice Standard Qs with a 1st and a 2nd place. Dudley is doing a great job and having so much fun, running Chance, who is his first Border Collie. Congratulations Dudley & Chance on the first of your many titles to come.
Hidden Valley Little Sure Shot MX MXJ MXF AD HIC Annie, (Bid/Reddy Girl, owned by Bonnie Disney, IN) On November 22nd, in Indianapolis IN, Annie earned her Master Excellent Jumpers ( MX J) agility title with a 1st place run. Bonnie and Annie came right back the following weekend to win a 69 dog jumpers class with a 7.24 YPS finish. WOW...That girl is flying!! What an accomplishment for Bonnie and Annie, to have all those Master's titles already, before Annie 4th birthday and in such grand style. BIG congratulations goes out to the fantastic team of Bonnie & Annie!
Hidden Valley RuffnReady, MX MXJ XF Rowdy, (Storm/Blake Boy owned by Lisa Michelon, OR) Rowdy had a fantastic three day trial at Ridgefield WA earning a 1st, three 2nds and a 4th place, along with two QQs. This not only qualified him for AKC Nationals in 2010, but also put him half way to his MACH with 10 QQs. Just two weeks ago, at the RCA trial in OR, Lisa and Rowdy earned two QQs as well. FOUR QQs in six days of trialing! This is a team to watch...I can't wait to see what next year bring. WAY TO GO LISA & ROWDY!!
Hidden Valley Wet'n Wild Bindi, AX AXJ OF Bindi, (Delta/Jester girl, owned by Donna Polka, OR) Bindi earned her Agility Excellent Jumpers title (AXJ) with a first place at the RCA Halloween trial in Central Point OR. CALEB & REDDY'S PUPPIES: Reddy's puppies have all gone to their new homes. Seven puppies born on September 16, two girls and five boys have moved on to begin their new lives. She went on to Q in her JWW run, with another blazing fast 1st place run of 24 seconds. Two first places, an MX title and a QQ to boot...Wowzer! Way to go Bonnie and Annie!!!
Hidden Valley Worth the Wait, NF Pacer, (Delta/Jester Boy, owned by Tanya Sigloh, OR) On October 30th, in Albany OR, Pacer earned his Novice FAST agility title ( NF ) with a 3rd place. He spent the rest of the weekend being 'the King of Rock & Roll' earning 2 legs toward his novice Freestyle title. By the end of the weekend, Pacer won the award for "the dog with the most energy that the judges don't want to take home because they don't think they can keep up with him". Sounds perfect to me!! Congratulations Tanya and Pacer!

MACH Hidden Valley Brilliant Flash, CD MXF Flash, (Bid/Reddy Boy owned by Art Brest, Oregon) On October 9th, at the Klamath Falls three day trial, Flash earned his Master Agility Championship (MACH). Art and Flash had a spectacular weekend, not only earning his 20th Double Q for his MACH, with two first placements, but went on to finish out the three day trial with FIVE blue ribbons....they won five out of the six classes they ran in that weekend. What a weekend for Art and Flash! Flash is Art's first agility dog and they went from Novice A to MACH before Flash was four years old. They even managed to earn a CD somewhere in that time. This is an incredible team and Flash an incredible dog, from an incredible litter...The Mensa Litter's first MACH. You can see Flash's title winning runs HERE. Hidden Valley Wet'n Wild Bindi, AX OAJ OF Bindi, (Delta/Jester girl, owned by Donna Polka, OR) Bindi earned her Excellent Agility title (AX) with a first place this past weekend, at Klamath Falls. Hidden Valley Kinetic Energy, MX MXJ MXF AD CD RE HS Busy, (Bid/Reddy Girl, owned by Pam Sturtz, NY) Busy earned her Companion Dog obedience title ( CD ) AND her Rally Excellent ( RE ) on October 24th. Both titles were earned with first place wins. Two titles and two blue ribbons on one day! Busy is quite the versatile little girl, doing agility, obedience, rally and herding...and not yet four years old. Congratulations Pam...Way to go Busy!!
Hidden Valley Midnight Hour, MX MXJ AD Remi, (Bid/Reddy Girl, owned by Joy Elliott, ME) Remi earned her Master Excellent (MX) title on October 17th, with a 4th place out of a 65 dog class, in the pouring rain. She also earned a QQ to put frosting on that cake. There's surely a MACH in this girls future. Congratulations Joy and the rocket dog, Remi!

He went on to win the 26" Steeplechase class the same day. Still under two, Ice already has a Steeplechase and GP win under his belt. Way to Go Bonnie and Ice!

The next day she earned a QQ with a 5th & 6th place in 47 dog classes. Remi only needs two more legs for her MX. The Mensa litter strikes again with another Masters title. Hidden Valley Wet'n Wild Bindi, OA OAJ NF Bindi, (Delta/Jester girl, owned by Donna Polka, OR) Bindi earned her Novice FAST Agility title (NF) with three 1st places at the RCA trial on August 30th. It was a great day for the girls :-)

Hidden Valley Yankee Wind NAJ Yankee, (Majik/Kash Boy) owned by Kathy & Don Vogan of WA: Yankee earned his Novice Agility Jumpers (NAJ) title on August 8th. He also qualified in Standard the same day, with a 2nd place run. This was just Yankee's second trial....Way to go baby bear! Congratulations Kathy and Yankee!

Hidden Valley Kinetic Energy, AX MXJ MXF RA HS Busy, (Bid/Reddy Girl, owned by Pam Sturtz, NY) Busy earned her Rally Advanced title (RA) this past weekend with 1st & 3rd placements. She went on to also earn her first leg toward her Rally Excellent title, with another 1st place. It was a big obedience weekend for Pam and Busy who also earned two legs toward their Companion Obedience (CD) title with 2nd and 3rd placements and scores of 192.5 for both legs. I really enjoy seeing these pups going back to their roots, doing obedience. What a multi talented girl Busy is. Congratulations Pam & Busy!

Hidden Valley RedRiver Sunrise, NA NF Sunny, (River/Reddy boy, owned by Art Brest, OR) On July 12th, at the Flatcoated Retriever trial in Medford OR, Sunny came away with his first two agility titles. With a first place in Standard, he earned his Novice Agility title (NA) and also earned his Novice FAST title with a second place. Like that wasn't enough, he turned right around and placed third in Open FAST the very next day. Team Art and Sunny are on their way. Big Congratulations!

Hidden Valley Brilliant Flash, MX MXJ MXF CD Flash, (Bid/Reddy Boy owned by Art Brest, Oregon) Art and Flash took on a new sport this month and continued their winning ways. Flash earned his Companion Dog (CD) Obedience title on May 16th, in just two weekends. Title earned with a 2nd placement, to boot. Is there anything Art and Flash can not do! Flash also has a MACH on his horizon, with only four QQs needed. This is a very talented team, from an extraordinary litter. I am extremely proud of Flash and Art....CONGRATULATIONS!!

Hidden Valley Crouching Tiger, OA OAJ NF Ice, (Delta/River boy, owned by Bonnie Norris, TX) On May 8th Ice earned his Novice FAST agility title (NF). He earned his first FAST title in only three tries. Ice is on a FAST track in agility. Congratulations Bonnie and Ice!
Hidden Valley Worth the Wait Pacer, (Delta/Jester Boy, owned by Tanya Sigloh, OR) On May 30th, Pacer earned his first Freestyle title with two first placements. His title is W-FD/MF, which stands for World Freestyle Dog/Musical Freestyle. Congratulations to our dynamic dancing team, Tanya & Pacer!

Hidden Valley Just for Fun, HX Justy, (Lefty/Reina boy) owned by Linda Fields of OH, had another amazing run and 2nd place win at the Plumb Lucky Mule USBCHA SDT, in MO on 4-18-09. Some of the countries best herding trial dogs were there, including Alasdair MacRae's Star...the Nat'l Finals CH. Justy was 2nd only to Scott Glen's Maid. What an incredible dog Justy is. He doesn't have his own sheep, he's trained once a month, if lucky and trials only a couple times a year, but manages to go out there compete with, and win over the big guys all the time. Lyle Ladd has done a great job of training and trialing Justy, while he remains Linda's heart and soul. Linda is a law enforcement officer in OH and Justy is now being trained, and soon to be certified to do Search and Rescue. Multi talented and most special dog! Congratulations to Linda, Lyle and most of all Justy.
Hidden Valley's Red Arrow, MX MXJ MXF MAD Dart, (Bid/Reddy Boy) Owned by Dave Mancino of OH: Dart earned his Master Excellent FAST agility title (MXF) this month. Congratulations Dave, on Dart's latest Master title. Dave and Dart are headed to the World Team try outs next week, where Dart will be the Demo Dog! Hidden Valley Kinetic Energy, AX MXJ MXF RN PT Busy, (Bid/Reddy Girl) owned by Pam Sturtz, NY: Busy earned her Master Excellent FAST agility title (MXF) this month, with a 1st place out of the 24" jump height class. At just three years old, there's no end to what this Mensa Litter can achieve. Congratulations Pam and Busy!

PUPPIES....Bindi (Hidden Valley Wet'n Wild Bindi, OA OAJ) has been bred to River (Hidden Valley's Wild River). Puppies are due May 11, 2009. This is Bindi's first litter and River's third. After 23 years of breeding, this will be Hidden Valley's 6th generation of performance dogs! For litter information, see their page HERE. Ice is not even 17 months old and already in Excellent, after earning his Open Standard Agility title (OA), and Open Jumpers Agility title (OAJ), with two 1st place clean runs. Hidden Valley Off The Wind, OA OAJ OF AD Reach, (Spot/Taxi Girl, owned by Kathy Vogan, WA) Reach blazed her way to her Open Jumpers (OAJ) agility title at the BTCWW trial in Western WA on 3-21-09, with a 1st place run at an speedy 5.23 yps. Getting a handle on all that drive has been quite the challenge for Kathy, so seeing it all come together is truly a thing of beauty. Big Huge Congratulations Kathy!
Hidden Valley Crouching Tiger, NA NAJ Ice, (Delta/River boy, owned by Bonnie Norris, TX) The March 6 weekend brought Ice his first two agility titles at the DAWG trial in TX. Ice, at just 16 months old and this his second trial, finished his Novice Standard Agility title (NA), with a 1st place, and his Novice Jumpers title, (NAJ) with another first place. Dart, (Bid/Reddy Boy) owned by Dave Mancino of OH: Dart's gone MAD (Master Agility Dog) ! Done in fine style, with his Q coming with a second place win in Masters Standard. Flash, (Bid/Reddy Boy) owned by Art Brest, Oregon: Art and Flash competed at the Rose City Classic in Portland Oregon where they ended the weekend with three first place wins out of the 20" Excellent classes...two in Std and one in JWW. To add frosting on the cake, they went H.I.T. on Sunday, from the 20" JWW class. These wins are very impressive as this is one of the more competitive trials in the country. 2008 Summary! Our dogs earned a total of Sixty Three titles this year! Showing, once again, that versatility is in the genes, titles were earned in Obedience, Agility, Tracking and Herding, which included OTCH, MACH, ADCH, NAC, TDX and HX. Along with the performance titles earned, Hidden Valley was awarded two ROMX’s from BCSA. I am extremely proud of each and every puppy, titles or not, but would like to take this time to reflect on those who achieved special honors in 2008!
